First International Labor Conference in Iraq

WHEN

This event will be held on March 13 & 14 of 2009

WHERE

The event will be held in Arbil a city north of Iraq

WHAT

A number of federations and unions have decided to unite and strengthen our ranks by bringing the labor movement together in an international  CONFERENCE for Iraqi workers and launch a new stage of our struggle

HOW

With the help and support of US Labor Against the War, we signed a Joint Declaration in 2005 in Washington DC

Today, with your continued support we can do it again in Iraq

WHY

The occupation and puppet government, sectarian violence and cleansing and absence of human and labor rights have been destroying the fabric of the society for five years.

WHO

The unions that will participate in this conference thus far are:
