Draft resolution:

Forming an international front against wars, economic blockade and prevention of trade union rights:

The world today has become less safe. In the past years, the workers and their families are the social class that have been most victimized by war, economic blockades and denial of trade union rights.

Facing military threats, standing against the outbreak of wars, resisting the economic blockades and defending the rights and freedoms of association and political rights, can be achieved by strengthening the ranks of the workers and civil society forces that can bring peace and global security.

The international Labor Congress resolves to:

·           Form an international labour front that aims to bring about global peace and security and defends the freedoms of association and political rights.

·           This front considers wars, that bring nothing but death and destruction, economic blockade, that is nothing but imposition of a policy of starvation, primarily on children, and banning the freedoms of association and political rights, that is nothing but confiscation of human rights, are unacceptable under any excuse or pretext.
