Draft resolution:
Promote and support the establishment of an independent state,
and the formation of a non-sectarian and non-ethnic government
One of the disastrous consequences of war and occupation of
Iraq
is sectarian and ethnic classifications and the division of the Iraqi
society on these bases. The current sectarian and ethnic conflict, that have
been dominating the entire political conflict in Iraq, have put the Iraqi
society in a cycle of violence, terrorism and murder on the basis of
personal identity that have claimed thousands of innocent lives. In
addition, this conflict made the areas of residence and workplaces of the
workers targets of terrorist attack. Such operations intended to transfer
the hellish conflict and sectarian war over into the ranks of the workers
who make up the majority of Iraqi society.
One of the major steps to bring stability, peace and security in Iraq
is to form a government that defines people on the basis of human identity,
regardless of their ethnic, religious or sectarian background.
The international conference supports the establishment of an independent
state in Iraq, and the
formation of a non-sectarian and non-ethnic Government which is the only
path towards stability, security and peace in Iraq.
